About the event
You know the feeling . . . You need to get away, regroup, rethink life and your role in it. You need to re-connect to something real. Touch the earth, feel the sun, have a genuine conversation with another human being. Three Leaf Farmden is offering you a key to a more authentic you; the chance to spend time in contemplation, immersed in nature and the lifestyle and traditions of genuine spiritual path.
Bhakti-yoga is a unique opportunity to engage in traditions thousands of years old. Experience the opportunity to live a simple life with few distractions, to study and discuss the philosophy of the Bhagavad-Gita, practice daily yoga, eat healthy vegan food, while learning how to integrate the Vedic lifestyle into modern life and engage with members of an intentional community. During your stay you will have the opportunity to attend workshops and classes going on at the nearby Eco-Farm and Sanctuary and on Zoom. You will have the opportunity to go on herb walks learn about medicinal herbs and prepare herbal preparations. You will spend time in the Farmden learning about regenerative agriculture and good stewardship of the Earth and help with eco-projects engaging the skills you have and learning new ones. Come with an inquisitive mind and be open to looking at the world from a new and completely fresh perspective.
What to bring: Personal journal/ diary and writing implements Waterproof outerwear and good shoes or boots for walking and working. Any personal instrument, drum, flute guitar etc. Nothing too large or bulky.
What will be provided: All vegetarian/ vegan meals and snacks and food items for you to cook for yourself if you desire Transportation to and from the Farmden and any other festival or retreat Japa beads for mantra meditation
There is no cost for this immersion programme, but participants, if accepted, must commit to at least a month, and agree to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and follow the house rules of no meat, fish or eggs, alcohol, tobacco, or drugs.
